... and that concludes the (very short-lived) prequel era! this song is a word-by-word recount of a night i had back in london 2 years ago. it was written the day after and initially had a very different structure, but i kept the lyrics and reworked the melody and music only sometime this year because it still didn't feel right (and i really wanted to tell this story). i think because of that, it's really the best song to represent where my future project(s) is/are going, and how things are going to be - where i, as who i am now, will be recalling and reflecting a journey that has been 2 years in the making. i hope you guys.... enjoy it, as always!
